As part of the Wintergreen Music Festival, Mercy will be performing Bach’s Wedding Cantata (Cantata 202) in colloboration with: Emily Swearer Brown, Claudia Finsaas, Allysa Packard, Jaimie Appleton, and the String Fellows.
This modern-day Good Friday service welcomes audience members to participate in celebrating Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, remembering the last supper, recognizing his sacrifice on the cross and rejoicing in the resurrection. Woven throughout the evening will be honest testimonies of people from Bethany Church. We will Experience Easter together as we contemplate what Jesus has done for us and the difference he can make in our lives.
